• Planned Campus for up to 1,310 students plus up to ~200 faculty staff

• From viewing an earlier Fruitville site development plan and from developer comments at a Feb 6th meeting, it has become apparent that TCA intends to build a new football/soccer stadium with grandstands, tall lights and an amplified public address system. TCA indicated they may allow 3rd party users on athletic fields (possibly leased) on nights and weekends when no school events are planned.

• Conceptual Plans did not share detailed information, which is concerning.

• TCA fund-raising website shows intentions for a belltower, amphitheater, concession stand, auditorium, multi-sport gym, and coffee bar – in addition to the football field

• Potential Impacts to our peaceful East-End Community

  • Significant new traffic in AM and PM. No bussing – all drop-off and pick-ups. Up to 1,510 cars entering, then 1,310 cars exiting after drop-off – all in a short timeframe. That is up to ~2,800 more cars per hour – which adds up to 46 additional cars on each roundabout per minute.

  • Amplified Noise impacts for long distances from athletic field Public Address (PA) system and concerts - days, evenings, and weekends

  • Light (skyglow) impacts from stadium lights – evenings and weekends

  • Concerning Air Quality degradation from traffic congestion and stop-go conditions
